Dear Jeremy We're using base 10.6.4 Snow Leopard system and XQuartz 2.5.3. We've tried self-built and CrossOver wine - both indicated the problem. We can send you a very short Win32 sample that demonstrates the problem. You can use CrossOver to see it. What version of the server and quartz-wm are you using?

Dear XQartz team
We've started actively coding some Wine extensions and looks like there are serious issues with window z-order positioning for child/ parent in quartz-wm window manager. After switching window manager to fluxbox or any other (except twm) everything is working by the book, but in quartz-wm our Windows app in Wine is behaving plainly wrong. It works correctly in Linux (fluxbox) and under fluxbox in OS X. I decided to fix quartz-wm for good :) but looks like it's sources are closed - what to do in this case?
