Without a mouse I hold alt pressed and tip on the track pad. This inserts the marked and copied (Cmd-C) text in Aqua into GNU Emacs X client. X11 also offers to use  menu entries for the purpose of copy&paste with Aqua. -- Greetings Pete Mushrooms always grow in damp places, which is why they look like umbrellas.
