If you're one of the unlucky folks who can easily trigger crashes in rlFill and other similar functions, can you please test out this version of Xquartz: http://xquartz.macosforge.org/downloads/Xquartz-1.3.0-apple13-no-rlAccel.bz2 just uncompress and drop it over /usr/X11/bin/Xquartz It is basically the same as what is in 2.2.0_rc2, but I disabled rlAccel (which means it will fall back to the "unaccelerated" versions of some of those procedures (meaning it should be using pixman instead). I want this to get a beating and find out if the crashing persists or goes away... and if it persists, where is it now crashing. If it "fixes" the problem, then I know the root of the problem is in rlAccel... if it doesn't fix the problem, then I know the problem is outside of rlAccel... either way, this will help narrow down the culprit.
