Mostly collecting a bunch of commits from the past few days since 1.4.2-13. Items of note: XQuartz: Added pasteboard proxy code stripped out of quartz-wm. XQuartz: Updated Tablet code to include ranges for valuators and added cursor and erasor mieqProcessInputEvents: Check custom event handlers first. XQuartz: Updated man page XQuartz: Fixed editing of Applications menu The mieqProcessInputEvents change should fix the NewCurrentWindow crash, and the pasteboard proxy code is essentially just a stripped down version of quartz-wm (as in, it's identical to running quartz-wm --proxy-only). It's not integrated into the server, but the source is there and ready to be prodded and eventyually integrated into the server itself in some way. It's compiled but not installed, so you can feel free to mess around with it on your own and use it with 'quartz-wm --no-pasteboard' (if you don't have a quartz-wm that supports that option, search the mail archives from around April, or wait for 2.3.1_rc4). http://static.macosforge.org/xquartz/downloads/X11-1.4.2-apple14.bz2
I discovered that there's a logic problem in the proximity detection in this release (manifests itself as crashing on mouse motion). I'll have -apple15 out with the fix soon, but for now, I don't recommend using 1.4.2-apple14. On Sep 3, 2008, at 16:27, Jeremy Huddleston wrote:

Ok, I won't be able to upload to the xquartz.macosforge.org/downloads until tonight, so for now the updated build (1.4.2-apple15) is available here: http://people.freedesktop.org/~jeremyhu/X11-1.4.2-apple15.bz2 It will just be there for a day or so, so if that 404s, then it is probably here: http://static.macosforge.org/xquartz/downloads/X11-1.4.2-apple15.bz2 In addition to the proximity fixes, this corrects a possible crash in RootlessNativeWindowMoved --Jeremy On Sep 4, 2008, at 08:58, Jeremy Huddleston wrote:
