We're working on a full MacOSForge site for the project, and it's up in a skeletal form at xquartz.macosforge.org, but the mailing list is ready to go -- it just needs people. Everyone is invited to join in, either by subscribing outright or reading the archives at the above link.
Just been looking through the wiki and noticed on the Changelog details for the 2.1 release. Does this mean we can expect an official update soon? Cheers Adam
It means you can expect an update soon from MacOSForge. This update is not an official Apple release. It is a convenient way for users to stay up to date with progress made in the open source community (in which Apple is participating). Official Apple releases will come from Apple when Apple decides to do it. These updates will likely incorporate many of the changes made in these releases, but as I am not an Apple developer or representative, I cannot comment on Apple's intentions. It will be up there as soon as I can figure out how to build .pkgs --Jeremy On Nov 30, 2007, at 19:06, Adam Mercer wrote:

I think this is better news than if it was a official update, I really like the direction that X on the Mac is going. Looking forward to the update... Cheers Adam
