Hi folks, XQuartz 2.8.0_rc4 (https://www.xquartz.org/releases/XQuartz-2.8.0_rc4.html) is out. It primarily re-adds some legacy libraries that were not previously included in 2.8.x. This should improve binary compatibility for many legacy apps that might have linked them despite not needing them (eg: IDL). This additionally includes a reported fix for an issue with IGLX, but I do not understand why the change fixes the problem. If anyone has some insight into this, I'd be happy to hear it (https://github.com/XQuartz/XQuartz/issues/54). Thanks, Jeremy
