My Leopard machine doesn't seem to have pkg-config on it. How can you access the information without the program? Are you going to include pkg-config in the X11 distro?

Yes, but fink has pkg-config and can make it a dependency. For your own personal info, you can read through the .pc files manually or you can install pkg-config. --Jeremy
