Command-C and command-Q work fine for me after the _rc3 upgrade., just as they did before the upgrade. Command-V, of course, never worked. =) --Adam On Fri, 29 Aug 2008, Timothy Goins wrote:
Having successfully installed 2.3.1_rc3 (OS X 10.5.4 on a MacPro Intel machine, 5 GB memory, NVIDIA QUADRO FX 4500 card), I notice that under X11-Preferences-Output the "Full screen mode" option is not pickable, i.e. grayed out. This may be something that's been around for a while, since I have not recently had the need to run in "Full screen mode", which I used to do on a second monitor (a flat screen TV). I call a rather generic .xinitrc located in $HOME and see no keyboard mappings that would influence anything in an OS X Preference pane.
I also note that Command-Q does not work even with "Enable key equivalents under X11" selected in X11-Preferences-Input.
Probably I'm being dumb about something but am curious about what I'm missing.

However to copy from an xterm I have to use the menu now... Command-C gives me: ã and Command-N gives me: î and Command-Q gives me: ñ (all copied via the menu :-() I have Enable Key Equivalents set ON. This is a UK locale with the US keyboard selected in the menu. LANG="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_COLLATE="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_CTYPE="en_US.UTF-8" LC_MESSAGES="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_MONETARY="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_NUMERIC="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_TIME="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_ALL= Looks like the shortcuts have died.
