   I'm not sure what's broken for you, but it appears to be multiple  
things.  A couple of notes:

  1- Do not disable memcached.  It is required.

  2- Get rid of all <guid> tags in your accounts.xml file and be sure  
to set <realm> to something that will not change in the future.  The  
server will compute GUIDs for you based on record type/name and the  
realm.  Or, set real GUIDs up for each account.  On many systems,  
including Mac OS X, the "uuidgen" command can spit out a valid GUID  
for you.
