The fact that you pulled this off successfully probably means you know what you're doing, but still... be careful and keep backups.

It's cool to hear that this worked for you. You may be the first person to have done this on a snow server :)

iOS is pretty bad about telling you when there is a problem with the server connection. It's very easy to be working offline without knowing it. Can you double check that your client is actually hitting the server when you expect it to be?
