Hello guys:

We are giving a try to the calendar server, using an old but
stable release that comes from the Ubuntu repository, but I
believe that is irrelevant for the question I would like to ask.

I more or less understand the role of locations and resources,
however I would like to know if it is expected that when a new
event is created using a location, the freebusy URL for the
location should be populated automatically or not?

If you want a little bit more of information here it is.

root@cal01:~# calendarserver_manage_principals --list-principals
locations
Full name Record name UUID
--------- ----------- ----
Meeting Room mr1 fc619986-eb9c-4dcb-afeb-eada3c2b1296

root@cal01:~# calendarserver_manage_principals --get-auto-schedule
fc619986-eb9c-4dcb-afeb-eada3c2b1296
Autoschedule for "Meeting Room 1" (locations:mr1) is true

Main loop terminated.

On a related note, does anyone has a practical example on how to
use resources on a calendar?

Thanks in advance.
