 It seems to be a gnuism.  The problem is in
 dcerpc/idl_compiler/Makefile.am

 The usage on OS X 10.8 is: gencat output-file input-files

 On debian, the manual states that the usage is gencat -o output-file
 input-file, but I have tested it and it works fine without -o.
