I'm not sure, but I just received a mail from noreply at macports.org with the
following content. Not sure if this has anything to do with it:

The special maintainers identified by nomaintainer at macports.org and
openmaintainer at macports.org are described on the MacPorts wiki at
<http://trac.macports.org/projects/macports/wiki/SpecialMaintainerAddresses>.
