Submitting updates/enhancements to an existing mac port?

Just open a ticket (marked as Update) at trac.macports.org and attach your changes (diff -u ORIG NEW).

In addition to filling in which port it's for, if there's an owner (in this instance there's not) be sure to copy or assign them the ticket.
