With a minor (change 'pylint-2.7' to 'pylint-2.6') modification,
certainly. <joke> But who uses python2.6 anymore? </joke>

This was part of adding the requested new py27-spyder port, which I've
marked as nomaintainer for now. I don't know if the py26-spyder
maintainer is willing to adopt it, as well. (Hopefully!)
