Hi,

when installing squid3 I see the following messages in its logs as soon as I try to run it:
---
2011/01/11 21:54:14| DNS Socket created at 0.0.0.0, FD 11
2011/01/11 21:54:14| /etc/resolv.conf: (2) No such file or directory
2011/01/11 21:54:14| Warning: Could not find any nameservers. Trying to use localhost
2011/01/11 21:54:14| Please check your /etc/resolv.conf file
2011/01/11 21:54:14| or use the 'dns_nameservers' option in squid.conf.
---
it cannot access /etc/resolv.conf… What's going on here? The files exists:
---
markos-imac:etc marko$ ls -las resolv.conf
8 lrwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel  20 Nov 20  2009 resolv.conf -> /var/run/resolv.conf
---
Am baffled.

Greets,
Marko
