<div dir="ltr">Hi,<div><br></div><div>I'm developing a port file for a python package that I have here (<a href="https://github.com/bioidiap/bob.blitz">https://github.com/bioidiap/bob.blitz</a>), but I cannot read the variable python.version as mentioned in the documentation (<a href="https://guide.macports.org/#reference.portgroup.python.variables">https://guide.macports.org/#reference.portgroup.python.variables</a>).</div><div><br></div><div>When I try to read this variable I get the following message:</div><div><br></div><div>{{{</div><div>Failed to parse file science/py-bob.blitz/Portfile: can't read "python.version": no such variable<br></div><div>}}}<br clear="all"><div><br></div><div>I have checked a couple of python ports such as py-docutils (<a href="https://trac.macports.org/browser/trunk/dports/python/py-docutils/Portfile">https://trac.macports.org/browser/trunk/dports/python/py-docutils/Portfile</a>) or py-scikit-image (<a href="https://trac.macports.org/browser/trunk/dports/python/py-scikit-image/Portfile">https://trac.macports.org/browser/trunk/dports/python/py-scikit-image/Portfile</a>) and I'm doing basically the same thing that they do and I can't figure out what is wrong.</div><div><br></div><div>The portfile is attached</div><div><br></div><div>Thank you very much in advance</div><div><br></div>-- <br><div class="gmail_signature">Tiago</div>
