Comment:

 I committed the update to 2.9.15 in r31191. Thank you, Andrew, for the
 patches.

 This obsoletes #11987, although it also mentioned that octave-forge could
 now be removed, which I have not done because I do not know the
 implications. I've asked the maintainer for advice.
