 The source for 1.1.2 is available only via Subversion checkout, which
 would make it possible to fetch and build it from source (assuming I can
 fix the circular build dependency mentioned [comment:ticket:15044:1
 above]), but forcing people to install Subversion just to install Growl is
 probably a bit much.  That may have been another reason why I stopped
 working on fixing 1.1.2, but I can't remember :P
