 i have a different (earlier) gcc build...could that be an issue?

 i have the same version of lua installed

 [asl at tiPop:~]$ port installed lua
 The following ports are currently installed:
   lua @5.1.3_0 (active)
 }}}
 but none of the kde ports. kdelibs3 seems to be the first one to build, so
 i have no kdebase3 or kdeutils3.

 is there a way i can update my gcc?
