 I haven't checked the history of darcs-devel but I guess it was created
 when darcs was still 1.x during the development phase of 2.x

 However the {{{darcs}}} port is now {{{@2.1.2}}} while {{{darcs-devel}}}
 is {{{@2.0.0pre4}}}, making it older than {{{darcs}}}, useless and less
 safe. I don't think there is any reason why it wouldn't be removed.
