 I noted the error on my Mac Book Pro.
 It is due to a lack of iconv_* functions in MacPorts' libiconv.

 I am wondering if I should link to system's libiconv
 or rewrite iconv_* to libiconv_*.

 Somehow, I was able to build g95 from the scratch
 (before installing other ports).
