Comment:

 I'd guess you're running Leopard and are trying to use the +apache
 variant. If that's correct, then that won't work. You'll have to use the
 +apache2 variant for now. See also #14001.

 If I've guessed wrong, then please tell me your version of Mac OS X,
 Xcode, MacPorts and what kind of Mac you have.
