Comment:

 The `-f` and `-s` options don't do anything useful for selfupdate, so
 don't use them. The `-d` option implies `-v`, so you only need to use one
 or the other (or neither) depending on how much information you want to
 see.

 What happens if you first clean the three ports whose work symlinks are
 mentioned?

 (And BTW, you no longer need to cc yourself on tickets you report.)
