 I have now had the chance to build glib2 @2.18.2 +universal using your
 patch (e.g. removing patch-configure.diff) on both a MacBook Pro and a
 Power Mac G4. That patch does not appear to have been incorporated
 upstream, because your 2.18.2 +universal is not identical on Intel and
 PowerPC, which was the point of the patch.
 ${prefix}/lib/glib-2.0/include/glibconfig.h differs on the two platforms,
 where it did not with my 2.18.1. So I will need to figure out which parts
 of the patch we still need.
