should remote login right out of the box.

i don't want remote login to be default for postgres also. but what i want
is to be able to '''select specific users that are allowed for Remote
 Login (ssh)'''.

if i issue the command "'''finger postgres'''" i can view the details for
the postgres account. but if i go to '''Systems
Preferences->Sharing->Remote Login->Allow access for: Only these
users:'''. upon clicking the "+" sign to add accounts, the postgres
account is not included in the '''Users & Groups list'''. why is this so?
 please explain further.

another thing is i can login to my macbook using the postgres account
created during installation but how come "postgres" is not in the '''Users
 & Groups list'''.
