 ['ve tried to clean this build (it's a requirement for several ports I've
 tried to install) and rebuild, and I always get a variation on this error

 Here's an example output

 I have run selfupdate, and I'm running on Mac OS 10.5.5 with Macports
 version 1.600

 This affects the gimp +macos port and gnome port
