 You'll notice that the patch deliberately doesn't include the
 `5.8.*/${os.platform}*-2level` paths, which I believe is where all the C
 modules go? Theoretically, pure perl modules should just work (and I
 haven't noticed any failures so far). So everything compiled would need a
 rev bump, but not the rest.
