 No, I didn't kill the installer. But it was stuck there for a long time. I
 spoke to jmr_mp, and he advised force-quitting the installer and running
 it again. When I did that, it worked fine. Sheesh!

 He suggested that possibly my internet connection got interrupted. It's
 possible, but I don't think so, since I was on IRC the entire time.
