> Are you trying to install ffmpeg_php through the MacPorts' PHP' PECL? If
not, you need to tell ffmpeg_php to search ffmpeg's headers and libraries
in {{{/opt/local/include}}} and {{{/opt/local/lib}}}. I'm closing this
ticket as invalid.

I understand this may be closed but it doesn't explain how to accomplish
the task. I too would like to install ffmpeg-php but have been unable to
do so. I have the newest version of macports 1.7.2 with ffmpeg installed.
However I have not been able to install ffmpeg-php. Is there a mac port?
How can I install so macport uses and shares this extension with php. I
use MAMP from livingE [http://www.mamp.info/en/index.php] and have access
to php config file. I do have the ablitiy to load ext as long as I have
the right path.
Would it be possible to explain how to install ffmpeg-php and MEnconder
into macports? I understand I may have to build it through terminal but
what would be the commands and proper path so macports would recognize it?
This would be very helpful not only to me but I'm sure other inexperienced
people or new comers on the web.
Thank You,
Tim
