 This patch seems to work fine.  I got it to work with a private bus
 started by launchd and a private bus I started manually as well as with
 the default bus.

 It would be nice to include a "platform darwin 9" section in the port file
 that sets OnDemand to true in the launchd plist, but that's not really
 necessary.
