Comment:

 Updated to version 2.8 which needs gcc43 to build correctly.  Scons
 requires needs the compiler specified in the env vars
 for each run.  See Portfile for details.  Let me know if you see a better
 approach but this works and invokes the desired
 compiler(s) correctly.
