 WFM. What version of Mac OS X are you running? What version of Xcode?

 It looks like your autoconf port is out of date. Please try the following:

 sudo port selfupdate
 sudo port upgrade outdated
 sudo port clean xsane
 sudo port install xsane
 }}}
