 It worked after I uninstalled qt3 which I had installed in a desperate
 attempt to get the libqt...dylib libraries.

 Unfortunately the program which I am trying to run that uses the library
 says it's for the wrong architecture. Could that have something to do with
 the patch I had to apply?
