 After upgrading from Pidgin 2.5.4, the application crashes during startup.
 The password and buddy list windows do appear briefly, but do not have any
 contents.  Shortly after, I am notified that "The application pidgin quit
 unexpectedly," following Pidgin closing.

 This continues to occur after an uninstall and clean installation.  I am
 using the +no_x11 +quartz variants on Mac OS X 10.5.6.
