 I attached the file gcc-g%2B%2B-3.4.5-20060117-2-src.tar.gz that was
 downloaded by macports.  Its clearly not a tar.gz file-- its actually an
 html file!

 The url being used to download this file is wrong, apparently, and
 macports can't tell that the url is bad (or sourceforge isn't reporting
 that it isn't found).
