Old description:

New description:

 I get the following error:

 {{{
 sudo port install gerbv
 --->  Computing dependencies for gerbv
 --->  Installing gerbv @2.2.0_0
 --->  Activating gerbv @2.2.0_0
 Error: Target org.macports.activate returned: Image error:
 /opt/local/share/gerbv/scheme/init.scm already exists and does not belong
 to a registered port.  Unable to activate port gerbv.
 Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.
 }}}

 All dependancies prior to this were successfully installed

Comment:

 You can basically either delete the file and try again or force the
 activation:

 {{{
 sudo port -f activate gerbv
 }}}
