Comment:

 Can you use {{{sudo port edit readline}}} and add the following line to
 the Portfile (anywhere in the file should be fine):
 {{{
 configure.ccache   no
 }}}
 If that then gets it to install, sounds like readline doesn't work with
 ccache and we'll need to disable it.
