 Both attachments appear to be the same and are not useful. You should do
 the following in a new terminal window

 {{{
 sudo port clean gcc44
 sudo port -d install gcc44
 }}}

 If it fails again, attach the output as text. You can hit Command-S to
 save the output to a text file.
