 {{{ launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchDaemons/org.freedesktop.dbus-
 system.plist }}}

 If that does not help, I have also no idea. For me it is working. But you
 could try to start Digikam with the following command to get some more
 debug information on the console:
 {{{ /Applications/MacPorts/KDE4/digikam.app/Contents/MacOS/digikam }}}
