 rtmpdump should be updated to 2.3. Attached is the beginning of a patch to
 do that, but it doesn't compile. There is a
 [http://lists.mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/rtmpdump/2010-July/001067.html thread
 in their mailing list] discussing problems compiling and suggesting
 patches, but the patches do not appear to relate to version 2.3 of the
 software. It seems apparent to me that the developers of rtmpdump have no
 conception of how to release software that can be used, which is
 unfortunate.
