 Installing ossp-mm +universal succeeds, but is not fully universal. The
 static library is universal, but the dynamic library is not:

 $ port installed ossp-mm
 The following ports are currently installed:
   ossp-mm @1.4.2_0+universal (active)
 $ lipo -info /opt/local/lib/libmm.{a,dylib}
 Architectures in the fat file: /opt/local/lib/libmm.a are: x86_64 i386
 Non-fat file: /opt/local/lib/libmm.dylib is architecture: x86_64

 This is on Snow Leopard.
