 Dear all,
  Finally I got the smart POP up. You were right.. unfortunately my disk
 has I/O errors.
 Tomorrow I will buy a new disk...

 Thank you all for the great, quick, professional and reliable support.

 ... and, as a kde daily user I will try again to install kde4 on MAC.
