Comment:

 texlive, especially with +full, has a lot of dependencies, and a lot of
 possible paths to those dependencies. Unfortunately, MacPorts currently
 tries to explore all of them; it doesn't stop when it sees a dependency
 it's already decided to install. I believe this is fixed in trunk but not
 in the current release version.

 As a workaround, try installing texlive-bin first, then texlive +full.
 That shouldn't take too long to compute the dependencies.
