New description:

 I've created a port file for [https://wci.llnl.gov/codes/silo/index.html
 silo], a mesh and field I/O library and scientific database. This is my
 first Portfile (it's based on the hdf5-18 port file), so it may require a
 more thorough looking-over. It works without a hitch on my system (Mac OS
 10.6.7, MacPorts 1.9.2).
