Comment:

 The config log shows the not unexpected:
 {{{
 /usr/bin/gcc-4.2: No such file or directory
 }}}
 Xcode 4.2 of course does not include GCC anymore.

 Nick, read PortfileRecipes#compiler for the correct solution.
