 Not sure if this is related.  When I was trying to install cassandra, it
 needed apache-ivy, but that failed with the following:

 Error: Target org.macports.destroot returned: could not create new link
 "/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports
 .org_release_ports_devel_apache-ivy/work/destroot/opt/local/share/java
 //apache-ant/lib/ivy.jar": target "/opt/local/share/java/ivy.jar" doesn't
 exist

 Log for apache-ivy is at:
 /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports
 .org_release_ports_devel_apache-ivy/main.log
