 I am working on it. I have it successfully built with some changes to the
 portfile, but am not yet able to mount a filesystem. Not sure yet what's
 going on.

 While I'm looking into that, some more questions: does it support Leopard
 systems? I saw some references to 10.6 in a couple places, but is this
 just an issue of the build system (and testing), or is there something
 more fundamental?

 I noticed the library installs as libfuse4x.dylib rather than libfuse.
 There's at least one port that will fail to build because it's looking for
 libfuse directly rather than asking pkgconfig, but maybe that's a bug in
 itself.
