 Why is it not a valid libtool archive? What's in it?

 I recently went through several rounds of this problem with someone else
 in #30136. Perhaps reading that ticket would be instructive.

 Try rebuilding libiconv:
 {{{
 sudo port -n upgrade --force libiconv
 }}}
