Possibly the user has a [wiki:MisbehavingServers helpful DNS server], and
tried to reach fastbull.dl.sourceforge.net (which responds to pings but
not http requests) or hivelocity.dl.sourceforge.net (which responds to
neither). Both http://www.fastbull.org/ and http://www.hivelocity.net/ are
working. http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/sourceforge/wiki/Mirrors does
not list fastbull or hivelocity so perhaps we should remove them from the
list. See also [http://lists.macosforge.org/pipermail/macports-
dev/2011-June/014926.html mailing list discussion] questioning the value
of having the list at all.
